I have found a unusual solution for finding those hard-to-find pins and needles that fall to the floor. I took a mop handle that I couldn't find a replacement sponge mop head for. I taped a magnet and fastened that where the sponge would go.Then you just wave over the floor and any pins and needles jump up to the needle.I can't bend over very well and I'm getting tired of stepping on the pins. This method really works,it sounds crazy, but it works.

Thanks for the idea, my DH is not happy when he steps on the pins and needles.

Great idea!! I stepped on a needle yesterday and it was DEEP. Right on the underneath tender side of my toe. I thought t'd never stop bleeding after I finally pulled the needle out.

I think my DH has magnets in the soles of his feet. If I drop any needles or pins, I will guarantee you that he will find it for me. It is a never fail thing!!!

OH! My DH has a tool out in the garage....it's like a mop only the whole head is magnet (for finding nails, etc.). It cost less than $15.00 at Home Depot. I think I'll go raid his garage! Good idea!

My DH says he has one in the garage but, it is about 20" wide and 6" deep and it is on wheels. He thought it may be a little big for the sewing room. LMAO
