Default Can anybody name this block?

For some reason I am unable to post a picture to this message. I would appreciate if someone could post it for me. The block is shown in a quilt on Ebay #121360272500. I would like to know the name of this block. My first thought was "Duck Foot in the Mud" but that's not right. Perhaps some type of flower? I have checked in all my books to no avail. Thanks. Jan

Sorry I don't ebay. Could it be the Carolina Lily block from your description?

No, its an appliqued block. I did find out that Duck Foot in the Mud is a pieced block also known as Bear Paw. Carolina Lily was a good guess! Thanks for trying. Jan

Since you don't own the picture, the board rules state that you can't post it, but you can post the link! Interesting block:

OK, looked it up in Encyclopedia of Pieced Quilt Patterns. It is #3107 called Swallow's Nest, Singing Corners, and Flying Swallows. I know I have seen it (or close to it) in one of my books/magazines as I like the pattern also.

Its not against the rules to post the picture here. The rule states we can't post pictures of copyrighted patterns without the owner's permission. It is not a copyrighted pattern and I did have permission from the current owner. But thanks for posting the link. That got the desired results Thanks again. Jan

A very feminine block and an old forgotten one too. It really should be revived. I have never seen it before. TFS
