Default Nifty neat little attachment!

This is new to me and I wanted to share it- Brother has a new sewing machine attachment that lets you sew 1/4" and has a guide on the right side of the attachment so you can't sew more than 1/4". It is almost fool-proof! ( now if they could just come up with something that would guarantee my corner seams would line up!)

Can you post a link or a picture? How is it different from the ones that have been sold now previously? I am not good at a straight 1/4" so I'm always curious.

Do you meant the 1/4" foot with guide? That's been available for years. Is there a new version now?

I love my 1/4" quilting foot. My Janome had one. My new Juki doesn't.. and I've had issues trying to get my seam right - so I ordered a set of them on Ebay... Now I'm just waiting for them to arrive...

I had one but I could never keep it against the little blade. I got the angler and taped it to my bed with painters tape. Another person said the edge of her feed dogs were 1/4. Still haven't sewed and check that one. I bought a 'class machine' a while ago totally forgetting why I don't like drop in bobbin sewing machines.Oh yeah, now I remember...

I have the 1/4 foot with guide for all my machines. I have one for my Featherweight too. It helps to keep the seam straight but I don't rely on it. I use Command Strips to make the edge all across the sewing area. I also have the seam guide that suctions on the sewing extension table. When I was learning to sew an accurate and consistent 1/4 seam I used 1/4" Wonder Tape. It washes out and won't stick to the needle.

I have the 1/4 inch with guide foot for all my sewing machines. I love it. I get perfect 1/4 inch seams without having any trouble. I agree, it's great!
