I feel your pain! I really do. My Customizer/Digitizer program cd came up missing when we moved. It WAS in with all my books/sewing instructions. Now it's not there. It was in the book in it's OWN little folder, opened the folder and it's gone.
I hope someone can help you...I know how expensive it is to replace it

That was my problem too... except we didn't move our house we moved the room. I had to pack up everything before the baby was born and then unpack when we finished my room, and now I can't find the cd. I thought I packed so carefully too. I bet it is in one of my magazines in one of the pages or soemthing. I tried to keep everything together! ugh!

Stop looking for it. Then just go and start straightening out what you have packed up. You'll find it. Right now you are stressing about finding it, so it is "hiding" from you.

Melissa
I frequently lose stuff, I have the worst short term memory! so I do two things, one isn't very nice, but the other makes up for it...
I find that if I blame someone else for taking, moving or borrowing it w/o asking... and then pray for God to help me find it, I do  . I finally learned not to tell anyone whom it is or even that I'm blaming, that way I don't have to look like a horses rear end in public, teehee. And also my God has a great (sometimes warped) sense of humor :P so he likes to see me act out :?: for a few minutes and than will take me right to the object. I think the lesson for me is stop stressing out: things will show up right when they are supposed to, which is never in my time...Just a suggestion...

I think like you! Blame it on someone and it will show up. "Cause you know darn well, I would never have put it in the place it's going to show up!!!

I've been looking for the packing tape for some time now. I saw it here about 2 weeks ago... I remember thinking I should put it back in the cabinet because someone will be looking for it. But I didn't and now it's me looking for it. So I gave up, started to straighten up the good living room (no, we don't have a bad one, this one's formal) and I found an old cigar box I used to keep sewing supplies in when I was a kid. I opened it up, thinking it had old stuff in it and I had the BEST surprise- pictures.

They are pictures of my late brother- he died a little over 3 years ago and today is his birthday. They are of him and his son the day he was born and him, his wife and son when he was baptized (19 years ago). And a pic of him with my son and daughter at my son's 2nd birthday party (he's now 23). Talk about an angel watching over me- I swear he put them there for me to find today!

Made a sad day very sweet. I told him happy birthday in heaven and shed a few tears of sorrow, but it made my day to see him on a happy occasion or two.

Oh Barbm How awesome!!! Congrats on your find, that is the most bittersweet story and I love it! My best friend from highschool finally was able to quit drinking and work on some issues that caused him pain and anger for nearly 45 years. I didn't know that he sobered up because I had to tell him to stop drunkdialing me about 18 years ago. So anyway he's been working for the VA, staying sober and working on a relationship he's been in for 17 years...He was hit by a kid learning to drive his dad's pickup. Broke his arm, Leg both tibia and Fibia, jaw, and cracked his crainium. They have him in a drug induced coma and they don't know for how long or what he'll be like after it's all over. But the good news is he was sober when it all happened! My ex husband has some pics he took of my friend when we were all younger and we're gonna print em up and I'm going to send to his hospital room, and his children.
