My wonderful quilting class
A couple months ago my dear grand daughter (she is 9) talked me into taking a class at our local fabric store. I agreed it would be great to take some lessons from a real teacher. Grand daughter would have fun and I would pick up some great tips. We had a ball. So much giggling and fun. I would recommend anyone to do it. Anyway just got an Email from her........her original pattern will be published in Quick Quilts magazine in the April/ May editions. WOW. I took lessons from a published quilt pattern designer. She is the most down to earth and fun loving person and I am so happy for her. So I guess the lesson is check out the classes offered at your quilt store or local fabric store and try them out. You may have lots of fun and get to meet a new local celebrity.
