Default Idea for labeling

This weekend me and my birth mom was working on putting a purse together. We had 26 different pieces and several of each piece. Normally we use post it and a straight pin to label everything. I was thinking for the projects that you plan on doing more that once or even once that we use plastics badge holders and clips. So this way we don't need pins. I took index cards and made a tag for each piece we need and put it in the holder and use the clip to attach to the fabric pieces. This way I can reuse the tags and I can store it in my three ring binder just fine. I found them at Walmart

Great idea! I especially like the colored index cards and the amount to "cut". That's what I call a plan and organization.

Oh does the bag need a home? Love it . I am a bag maker I think your idea about the labelling is excellent. Unfortunately I never make the same think twice but I am a bag maker and your is excellent. Pattern?

I'm usually not too crazy about bags, but yours is a masterpiece of engineering. I can't imagine keeping all of those pieces straight during sewing and assembly - looks like you've found a great system.
