Mail your blocks to me by March 1 at
Cathy Clark Studios
***just noticed this.
for your cyber-safety, please don't post personal information such as address, eddresses, and phone numbers.
request and share personal info by pm, please.****

Be sure to include an addressed return envelope and postage..

Thanks

Everyone is Welcome. no limit to number of participants..

12 1/2 inch UNFINISHED blue and white stars,, any stars, any blue and white fabrics

MAKE SURE YOUR BLOCKS MEASURE 12 1/2 INCHES BEFORE YOU MAIL THEM TO ME.. blocks smaller than 12 1/2 inches will be returned..

Sorry to be so strict on this point... but it is necessary to be fair

here is how it works...

You make 12 blocks, all alike and send them to me.. the orgainizer, along with a self addressed, stamped envelope for return postage... what ever it cost to send it to me, it will cost to return your blocks to you...so be sure to put enough postage on your envelope.

I will send you back one of your blocks and one each of 11 different blocks..

Please mark EACH ONE of your blocks with a little slip of paper pinned to or a sticky label with your message board id and if you want to, your real name. It is nice to know who made the blocks in your quilt.

Mail your blocks to me by March 1, 2009

I will mail them back out by March 15, 2009

I'd like to join the 2nd one...12.5" blue and white stars. Do we make the ones we send to you all the same? or do they need to be different? Sounds like fun.

I'm not exactly sure when your Civil War was, but the blue and white stars is tempting... 4 months would be roughly the end of Jan? Sounds do-able. Can this be international too?

yes, international is welcome
deadline will be 1st of March, 2009. I need to receive it by this date, so if you are mailing international, please mail it early enough to get here by then.

Sounds good - count me in!

And I've just looked it up - the American Civil war was 1861-1865, so started 210 years after the English one ended. Not sure what that would mean for fabric though. I think I understand stars more.

OK, sign me up for the stars too! I just recently finished a Bear Paw and although I love the CW repros, I havent done a star quilt for about 8 years. Sounds like fun!!!!
