Lightbulb Blueberry Crumb Cake fabric

Hi, I've been learning (trying to learn) to quilt for a few months and purchased the Blueberry Crumb Cake bundle; Blueberry Crumb Cake jelly roll, and a matching solid beige jelly roll all from Moda. Has anyone out there used the Blueberry Crumb Cake fabric and if so - what pattern/patterns did you use? Thanks and Happy New year to all!

That Blueberry fabric is so pretty. I was thinking about getting it for the Planet Patchwork mystery quilt on New Years Day. I didn't think I could get the shipment before then, so I didn't order it. If you do a search, there are some folks here doing it, but I think you might need 1 7/8 yard of a light and 1/2 yd of a med plus binding and backing.

I have not seen it but it sounds delicious! Would the Warm Wishes pattern work to showcase it?

Thanks for replying - is the Planet Patchwork Mystery quilt open to all and is that what you are referring to needing 1 7/8 yard of light & 1/2 yd of med + binding & backing? If so - is mystery open to all?

I think the bento box would also work well. Here's a link that someone here posted a while back:http://quiltsoflove.blogspot.com/201...t-pattern.html

Yes, the Myster quilt is open to all. I think registering for their site is optional, but it is free and maybe they e-mail some hints. I know PatriceJ has a thread started on this forum. At Planet Patchwork, they also have a live thing-a-ma-jig. If you register, you may be eligible for prizes or something, not quite sure.....

Look at modabakeshop.com. There was a "Crumb Cake" quilt posted a couple of days ago.

i havent seen that line before but the name sounds delish. i would think moda should have a pattern made up in that fabric. google and see what you find.

here is the link for those of us who will be participating in the new years day mystery quilt if you want to join us. it should be a load of fun.
