This looks like a fun project. I've never done a BOM.

I love that shop. I can't wait to see your blocks and the finished quilt.

That looks like a nice sampler quilt, I'm sure he's going to love it.

I have been racking my brain as to what to make for our 50th Wedding Anniversary (Nov. 25, 2010). I would love to do a quilt that would "surprise" my husband. He is somewhat interested in Civil War stuff (though not as ardent as some). We travel to Gettysburg when we get a chance and he enjoys that. Would this BOM quilt be a good idea? Any suggestions from you would help. I had also thought about using some pictures printed out on "Printed Treasurers" for our Anniversary quilt. Open to any suggestions. Thanks in advance. Sue

What a beautiful quilt! But so many little pieces! I would love to make one, but am afraid I wouldn't finish because of those pesky little pieces. I'm not a very patient person, I'm afraid!

I am on my second BOM. I did the Mystery quilt 2009 & 2010. They were both by 3 sisters, one was Peace on earth and the other was Glace. I love both of them as they are going to be very big quilts. 2009 qas a little easier than 2010.

I signed up to do this BOM at my LQS in December. I can't wait to start in it. We were supposed to start on it last week but the fabric was back ordered. But it sounds like we will be able to get started on them in February!!!!!

BkinCO What kind of machine did you get? Mine is about to take its last breath. I keep thinking I'll get one more project out of the dear girl but am weary of constantly repairing and crossing my fingers.
