For those having math problems ... in my personal quilt library
is Barbara Chainey's outstanding book: Fast Quilts from Fat
Quarters easily understood instructions on (1) choosing fabrics
(2) cutting your Fat Quarters into specific sizes and best of all
(3) a "map/layout" for assembly that allows various block
designs for your quilt. Highly recommended!

First book I bought is the Quilter's Bible I've used it a lot since starting to quilt they've got wonderful color step by step photos for everything and very easy instructions. There are even patterns towards the back of the book on easy to make quilts.
