I think "in" looks best - cute quilt by the way :)

Much better facing in -- otherwise too many standing on their heads! LOL

I think a big confusion is what is facing in and what is facing out. To me facing in is when they're standing on their heads. Their faces are closer to the inside of the border. I can't see how that would be considered facing out.

Love the fabric. Either way it will be nice. :)

I'd say it's facing out because although their faces are closer to the inside of the quilt, they are looking (facing) towards the outside of the quilt, therefore they are "facing out"

If you had enough fabric, have you ever considered a compromise between "in" or "out" -- sideways? Each side w/ the characters running parallel to the quilt? It's all up to you -- there's no wrong way!!

That would be cute -- 2 sides each way!
