Default Bow tucks purse

Hi, I'm new...maybe this doesn't belong in this section...couldn't decide....it is quilting related, but I didn't quilt mine! I just wanted to say that I finished my first Bow Tucks Purse yesterday. Today I took it to my church Fall supper and auction. My purse was a hit! Everyone wanted me to empty it out and put it in the auction!! I didn't feel like it was good enough for someone to buy since it was my first and I made a few correctable mistakes! I read a lot of the archived posts and feel fortunate that I was able to dicipher the instructions. Looks like a lot of folks had trouble figuring them out! I can't wait to make another and I know I will be getting phone calls to make some for some of my friends!

Hi Casi and welcome from NE Ohio. The Bow Tuck bags are like Lay's Potato Chips, you can't make just one. I've made 5 so far and have requests for at least 3 more. Gota love those bags.

I just used a bow tuck as a fundraiser. I made the bag. Other association members brought gift cards. I put them on foam board and added a wallet, gloves, hand sanitizer and lotion. It was a hit and raised a lot of money.
