I was bored and went through my box of 2 1/2 strips and started making some bricks and cobblestones the night before last.

I thought it would be a good break and a way to use up some cut pieces from my stash.

It is fun and doesn't take a math degree to figure out. Actually I over-sized a tiny bit and then trimmed. That took out the pressure to be exacting while I was at the machine.

This would be a nice quilt idea for members to make to donate for charity
projects. The squares and rectangles go together quickly.

    Piecefully yours,
    Kay Susan

After sewing most all of my Christmas gifts this year, I have a ton of scraps that would make these lovely cobblestone blocks. Great idea.

    Thanks for sharing,
    Cheryl

I have made two bricks and cobblestones quilts... and they looked great.... they were for community quilts... nice and bright... thought I wouldn't do another one but now this pattern has come up again I just might do that.
