Hi everyone,

I am just about ready to begin quilting a baby quilt. I have used a print that is Winnie the pooh, and yellow sashing in my rows. I have not decided how to quilt it yet, but am trying to decide if I can get by with quilting in only one color. The block used is Grandmother's favorite and it was published as a stash block by quilt magazine. I know it is online if you wanted to look at it.

I can't post a picture as I do not have a camera.

Thanks

I typically try to stay with one color, but when I get really twisted about which color I use varigated.

Depending on the shade of yellow, you might be able to use an offwhite or very light beige and have it blend well. Or a soft yellow might be nice, even with the Pooh blocks. What kind of quilting do you plan to do? If you're doing free motion and want to call attention to your stitches, you might even go with a slightly brighter yellow.

And there is always the option of using a transparent thread, if you don't want it showing up at all.
