Thangles are a fun an easy way to make half square triangles. You can choose from two products 1. Thangles (this product is strips of paper printed with sewing lines and cutting lines to make perfect half square triangles - six per sheet) 2. Triangles on a Roll (this is the same but printed in a continous roll).

Both products work the same. Right side of fabric together, pin sheets or roll on fabric sew on dash line (reduce size of stitch to very small - makes easier to rip off paper) cut on solid lines, tear paper away, press you have perfect half square triangles.

Both products come in various sizes. You will buy by the FINISHED size of desired HST. I use thangles more than the other. Last year made a queen size quilt with only HGT. Made them all in a day - all perfect.

Looking at a package of thangles 2" finished makes 450 and paid 5.19 for the package.

Another tip if you put the darker fabric next to the thangle paper, pressing is faster (this step on necessary to make work).

I'm thinking this would be easier to make using the accuquilt dies for half square triangles...they make precision much easier. I've put it on my to-do list :-)

Love it. I went to the Buggy Barn last June. It is a great place to go. Actually there are quite a few stores in the Spokane WA area.
