I love it! It's a great idea. A child would really love it!

I have made several hexagon 'I Spy' quilts. I LOVE them. Here is a link to several types of I Spy Quilts:

http://quilt-knit-run-sew.blogspot.c...rt-1-of-3.html

The one that I made came from the quilt book "P.S. I Love You" and is the 8th and 9th quilt down the page if you look in the link that I mentioned.

Well it is nice to see that someone else on here has the same sense of humor that I have!! :D I love the Idea and think you should make a couple of them for the fun of it. One for you and the other to give away.

Not sure if this was suggested but use the jar block for bugs in a jar! Boys love to collect bugs in jars right? I am going to start collecting bug fabric also!!

Add me to the list of beginning bug fabric collectors. I have a grandson who just turned 18mths. I am sure he will love bugs because he already loves getting dirty. Which drives his 4 year old sister crazy. LOL!! She can't stand a spec of dirt on her. LOL!!!

I was browsing Ebay and came across this auction. I had to get one. It will be a perfect start to a quilt for Gabe. And a free pattern included is awesome!

What about an I Spy quilt with interlocking chain pattern. I seen that on here or some other website a couple of weeks ago and bookmarked it for a future project. And then what ever you don't use on the front, you can incorporate into the back, kind of like a reversible quilt. Actually I just checked... it was on here and the title is Need Help with Animal Print Squares.
