Recently someone posted a picture and description of a self made sewing table, it consisted of 2 end tables, a top with a cut out for the machine and a support underneath for the machine to rest on. The cost was around $100. If someone could direct me to that link, I need to build a table for my machine for quilting, I am currently using a computer desk.

I can't help with your specific request, but here's what I did, for under $100.
I purchased two 2-door closet cabinets from the closet organizer section at Lowes. Made by ClosetMaid. At the time, they were about $30, now are $38. They are taller than you'll want, unless you are very tall, so need to be "trimmed" down on the bottom - but not all the way flush, or the doors won't open. Face these with the doors OUT, not facing the front.
Top with wood cut to the width you want and depth of the cabinet. Turned as described above, cabinets are 24" deep; the piece of wood I had cut is 4' x 2' - it is 3/4" thick but I don't remember what kind of wood it is. Not plywood, as that is too rough.
Had DH cut space for my machine with acrylic insert, and built shelf underneath to hold machine.

Picture - be warned that I am not neat when I work. Plastic cabinets underneath, with curtain on tension rod in front of them to cover some of the storage; when I am sewing, I don't sit close enough for my legs to go under that far so am using the space!

peaceandjoy, love your sewing table. and all that extra storage space for fabric and/or notions. good job by you and DH. definitely bookmarking this one. although I am tall so my long legs won't allow for storage under the machine.
