Sorry, but the irony of that just made me laugh!
Perhaps they needed to watch the shows because they were not good enough Criminals yet lol. Some folks just have to steal to be stealing, no morals at all. Gerbie

I had a friend who did that with a cross stitch scissors. They were so small you could use them for opening dvd cases in a sinch. She later got caught and sad thing is she had my goddaughter with her. I used to go to walmart with her alot too and what would have happened if I was with her and my son. We could have gotten into trouble as well. Cps was not called but shes lucky since she was stuffing things into the diaper bag.

Well I went and got gas on a Sunday, and I NEVER use cash, I ALWAYS use my debit card. On this particular Sunday I had cash the total came to $62 for my fill up. I went in the gas station to pay, gave the girl a $2 coin, gave her my points card then asked her what I was looking for! We chatted for a while about this and that and I left. Later that evening I looked in my purse and found the 50 dollar bill! I then realized that I had only paid $2 for my gas! On the next business day (which happened to be a Tuesday) I went to see the manager and told her what I had done, and gave her the $60. I could not sleep until I paid that bill in full! The manager was so happy that I gave her the money, she also told me that had she done the cash and noticed that the cashier was short $60 it would have been up to the cashier to pay for HER error. I told the manager that it was MY error! At any rate, this is the only spot that we get gas for our vehicles, and the manager knows this as well. We are now on their top clients list! I know that I will ever do this again!

It just goes to show that there can be an hones mistake once in a while! At least what I did was an umm stupid human trick! LOL

I like the fact that stores are beginning to photograph, and post, pictures of shoplifters. Even some malls are doing it too! I think that will do more for shoplifting prevention. I once took a 'friend' to the store with me. While I parked she said she 'could not shop there'. I'm thinking 'some boycott I haven't heard of' and she tells me that she was caught there shoplifting, and banned from the store for two years! I took her home, and we decided not to shop together anymore! LOL!

I have been told by the manager of Joanns that people have been stealing the 45mm rotary blades out of the packages of 5! I had asked him why there were never any on the rack any more? He said you have to get them from a manager, who keeps them locked up, because of it. I know they're expensive but.......is nothing sacred anymore???? It's sad that sewers ( and quilters) have to steal things?

When I went into a Joann's recently (not the best part of town) to get some rotary blades I was told they were being kept behind the cutting table because kids were 'lifting' them for weapons! Couldn't believe it.

I can. They wouldn't supect a kid with that. Could sure do a lot of damage with one. Also druggies might use them to cut there stuff up or make lines.

Our JoAnns never has blades when they are 50% off. I got there early the morning of the sale and all the 45
's and 60 mm were gone...When I asked, the sales lady told me that two ladies come in everytime there is a sale and they purchase all of them and sell them on Ebay!
Frustrating!
