I found a Singer 185 green machine and green case on Craigslist for 65 dollars. Does anyone know anything about this machine and is it a good buy.

It's a decent machine, but personally, I wouldn't pay more than $10-20 for one. (*Unless* I loved it and it had been completely refurbished.)

My reasoning is that there are a lot of really GOOD machines available at better prices than this and I could refurb them and have great machines when I was done. Even a restored 185 is still just a 185, though - not one that's on my wish list.

OTOH, if you love the machine, buy it - or you will regret it for long time.
