Default Buying spree

Yesterday I had an appointment to get my car serviced at the dealership - since I live over 2 hrs away they offered me a free loaner car for the day - before I left for the appt - my hubby gave me cash (yes, the green stuff) - over $ 400 - to do with what I wanted - OMG - I think I need fabrics anonymous now - I had a great time - found 4 different quilt shops (including Joann's) and purchased fabric from each shop - it was like my own personal shop hop. After a couple of hours - I called and my car was still in the service bay so off I went again - it was a difficult job (the shopping) but I made it through. Wow, now I have a heap of new fabric and couple of new books, ruler and some notions- it felt like Christmas and my birthday all rolled up in one. (Of course, I did feel a little guilty for spending so much - but my hubby was happy that I spent it on myself).

Can I borrow your husband? lol I would be in heaven! I have about $120 worth of fabric (18 yds total) in my cart at fabric.com. Debating on rather to use the CC for it.

What a great day you had! I don't think I've ever felt guilty spending money for things I want. I spent too much on things I didn't want; braces, summer camps, prom dresses, homecoming, cheerleading, sport teams, etc. LOL
