I am looking for some of the c shaped rings I used to use when quilting. I would roll up the sides of the quilts and hold them together with those rings to keep the sides out of the way while I was quilting in the middle. (Ihope this makes sense). ANYWAY, I have been trying to find those rings. JoAnn's have them (gold plated LOL) $6.00 for two. I am looking for plain Jane metal ones. Anyone know where I can get them, or what to ask for while looking?

I used to use the metal bicycle clips that hold your pant legs out of the way of the chain.

I read a post recently of someone using plastic shower curtain hangers.

I think I got mine from Clothilde.....Pretty sure it was them. Mine are stainless steel and work pretty good.

I second the bicycle clip idea. Seems to me mine were very inexpensive and they work well.

I picked mine up at my LQS. Don't remember the brand or the cost, but they're red. I purchased two sets of 2, so I know they must not have been too pricey.
