I have posted on lots of things, but the way this board is set up, it isn't the threads that are getting replies that move to the top of the board, it is new topics. Or am I just corn-fused?

OK here goes a lurker question :!: I am trying to teach myself applique and the method I am using is with freezer paper and glue. To remove the freezer paper I make a slit in the back of the base fabric, dampen and then tweeze out. Question is: will this cut become a problem in the future of this (will receive many washings) quilt :?: ie; unravel, bunch up or show thru to top fabric.
I've got lots more questions but will pace myself.

A little leary about posting, have been intimidated by some of the responses I recieved on a post. (probably my own insecurities) So, mostly I just stick to lurking! I learn more by listening.

Count me in as another lurker. There is just so much information on this board. By the time I finish reading it all, my computer time is up. I am glad that I found this board, though. You guys are great!

I'm here!!!! Just finished a hobo bag, and I don't like it!!!! It has box pockets on the outside, and even with the interfacing, it is just too "limp" Got any fix it ideas?

I'm here. I'm a new "lurker" and can't seem to quit. So many things I'm learning. I do feel like I can't get off this site now though!

You've blown my cover. I enjoy reading questions and comments and of course all of the lovely quilts posted. When I retire I plan on being more active. For now, I am lurking and enjoying every moment.
