Default Can Soft and Stable leftovers be pieced?

I watched many of the videos on the byAnnie website, and didn't see this topic addressed.

I wondered if you can piece smaller pieces of Soft and Stable like you can for batting and use them on inside sections of a bag, like a divider, laptop sleeve for inside the bag, etc. I'm thinking it might show if you used it on the outside and I don't want to use a pieced section for straps and have them not be able to support the weight of a laptop. If you can piece it, what is the best way?

I haven't even received my order from ebay and already wish I had bought a larger piece. I may have to order another anyway.

You butt the pieces side by side against each other then zigzag them together, works fine, I've used ( pieced) sections in placemats and totes, you cannot tell in the finished project

Thanks, good to know. Another question...what size seams do you generally use? Do I need them wider since it's thicker than batting (I will be drafting my own pattern)?

A good rule of thumb with crafts and purses and such is to use a 1/2" seam allowance
