Default Can someone name this quilt pattern?

I had a question from a family member asking if I knew the name of this pattern. Is it familiar to anyone?

I see a four patch with sashing and cornerstones. One thing that is throwing me off is the plaid pieces. They may be patchwork or just carefully cut plaid fabric.

Looks to me like someone was using up scraps and they used whatever fabrics they could squeeze a square out of. I love this scrappy quilt.

25patch with sashing and cornerstones.

Had another look... it's actually 4 patches with lots of sashings and cornerstones.

Yes, it does look like a variation of a single Irish Chain. Nicely done there is a good chance you would find this variation in the http://www.quilterscache.com/QuiltBlocksGalore.html . There are many variations availabale there.
