Just got back from my parents and put up a new gazebo for them. the old one was ripped in a few spots and had some wear and tear. Question is this - is there anything you can think of to make use of the old one? it is 10 feet by 10 feet. has mesh sides as well as mesh in front and back. along the corners and top is fabric. wasn't sure if net could be used for lingerie bags?????

Is it the right kind of screen that you could make the tote bags out of? They were very popular about 5 years ago. How about a ruler holder for your big rulers? How about pockets for the back of your sewing room door for your tools? How about a giant quilt bag tote? How about that snow fabric dyeing that looks so interesting this winter on this board? She used some kind of screen stapled to 2X4 frames.

I've got a pattern for a beach bag made from mesh. The top has a fabric panel so it can be "pretty" and the bottom is mesh. The nice thing about mesh on the bottom is that they trap sand.

Have not used the pattern yet but will this summer. I can sell it when I'm finished as once I've made it I won't make it again.

I am sure if you searched the internet you could find all kind of ideas. Reusing is really big right now. I am getting ready to cut up a leather jacket I have not worn for 20 years and make moccasins out of it . I loved the ideas mentioned so far. Wildyard posted an awesome organizer tutorial not long ago this mesh would be perfect for that.
