    Sure, get one for a low shank machine. You would probably have better luck with one made expecially for straight-stitch machines with narrower feed dogs. Sew-classic.com has them:

    Skyangel is correct. You just have to find the right generic foot for your machine. Good Luck !!

    i got my low shank generic 1/4" foot for .91 (yes, that is ninety-one cents!)

    How painful is it for you to get to Quakertown, PA? There's a sew/vac place in the farmers market there that has just about any foot imaginable. DH got me an entire box of feet/attachments for my FW there for $5.

    I use a Singer as my regular sewing machine. I just take the shank and foot together and put in on my 66. You can also buy the shank all by itself and then put a 1/4 foot on it.
