Default What is the name of the quilt behind jenny?

Jenny Doan has a new video quilting tutorial posted and hanging behind her is a quilt. I called the shop and was told the quilt is an unknown pattern 'name', is an antique quilt from Jenny's private collection.

Does anyone know the name of this pattern?

It looks like a combination and alteration of the center block of the Dear Jane quilt (called Indianapolis, but I can't tell that this is relevant) and something called the hyacinth: http://hyacinthquiltdesigns.blogspot...ars-quilt.html
The one behind Jenny looks more circular but with the four pointed stars between them. Hope this helps.

It's a variation of "Rob Peter to Pay Paul". Interesting that the edge of the quilt ends with a half block then is bound on the curves. Very pretty.

Found the templates for the variation. If you look at the pic of the template set in grey - it's the one on the top center.

i think Patti has the right idea. Sue's link has a smooth curve. but the Jenny quilt has angles like Patti's link

Here's another picture of a similar quilt - http://www.etsy.com/listing/11645343...-arkansas-star

It's a kite pattern, probably with several names. Here's an EQ6 representation.

I noticed Jenny is using what looks like a Brother 1500. Great machine.
