Default Can you recommend a tupip pattern?

Just ordered a pastel layer cake from Missouri Star and thought it would be pretty made into a tulip quilt. I realize Mo Star has a tulip quilt pattern, but I'm wanting something in a more delicate tulip. Can anyone recommend a pieced not appliqued pattern? Thank you ladies!!

When I think delicate, I think small.
And often times applique.
Being that you have already ruled out applique ....

How about downsizing the Missouri Star pattern to be smaller?

A couple more thoughts about delicate .... I think of open space and fabric choices.
Perhaps space the tulips further apart?

Or perhaps what you are not liking about the "un-delicate" tulips is that they are made with bold, bright fabrics instead of something more delicate aka lighter, more pastel?

I made this wall quilt -- but you could just do the tulips either with or without sashing. I liked them because they had a three point flower which I think helps hit your more delicate request.

I made this one and love it. To me it feels more delicate and feminine than some. I saw the original
design as a single block in a table topper. I adapted it to scrappy and a large throw size.
