i am also old enough to spot the difference, but that is because of the designs. they all go together well, use them. the recipient will love it.

I can't wait to see the finished quilt. I love all of those fabrics.

I would use them all, they're great. The only thing I can think of that would matter is if you were wanting to keep it made out of antique 30's material then make the whole quilt (backing included) out of the original 30's material; otherwise if your goal is to have the 30's look to your quilt use any and all (original and reproduction). Please post pictures.

I think I found six that weren't reproductions. They seem easy to spot, but they work well with the new fabrics so I'd say "use them all".

I can tell a few of the new ones...LOL But I say use them all...they look beautiful together and I would be happy to receive a quilt made from them.

I have the same thing... some bona fide oldies, and some reproductions. I haven't done anything with them because I am always hesitant to mix them. I think I am just going to have a hard time using the vintage fabrics at all.
