They were...... a block in the middle and about two inches wide of material around them.... then they were cut in half and mix and matched with others.... colours were blue and maybe grey. Think the block in the middle was a dark colour.... thought I had bookmarked the page but can't find it... thank you,....

Go to 'Topic Log' at the top of the page and you may find it that way.

No, it was not a D9P... one block in the middle and then cut in half from one corner to the opposite corner.... was really pretty the way she put them all together again.

There are some black and whites blocks in pictures that kind of sound what you are looking for. Go to search and type in "black and white blocks started" Sorry, I don't know how to do a link. It should be the first one that pops up.

Yes, PegD... that is it... well I must be going colourblind... have recently had my eyes tested too.... a couple of times when I was in a quilt shop looking at black fabric, the fabric looked royal.. I told the optician this but he didn't know why.... but said my eyes are OK... thank you so much and thank you to you all.... I am rapt.. I bookmarked it before I wrote this in case it disappeared on me again. !!!!!! You are all so clever....isn't it a pretty block... I just love it and am dying to try it... got my hands full making a black, white and red quilt... queen size... just on the last of the blocks now but maybe it has something to do with seeing so much black lately...
