    Somewhere on here is a pic of a sunflower block that a lady helped a 9 or 10 year old make. She is going to help the gal make a small wallhanging. Since my bookmark thing-y doesn't work--does anybody remember seeing it. I am mostly interested in the coloring process. She used marking pens from Staples & butcher paper. I have been wanting to make a Dahlia quilt and this just might be the perfect medium.. She said she posted the process on CHIT CHAT! Thanks in advance!

    Yep! that is it! thanks SKEAT. You always come to my rescue.... just printed it out as my BOOKMarK thing doesn't seem to want to work..... cold and still raining here. Have 2 hummers at my feeders so spring must be just around the corner. tra la!!!

    We just had mentor night at our guild and "crayon quilt" was one of the presentations. The process is similar to the one shown, but she used crayons to color the picture. Once colored, iron off the excess wax between sheets of brown paper and paper towels. It gives a less crisp appearance.

    borntoquilt, I had that same problem and put the question out there. Got some good answers, but the one that helped me came from Yvonne.

    "I'll tab until I see the word "yes" and then hit enter. It works!"
