thats a bummer! i left my favorite pillow but they were able to send it to me at a cost of course. I am sure you can get a cord either on line or where they sell janomes.

Disney is AWESOME with this sort of thing. My 3 yo son lost his Mickey Mouse hat, the kind with the ears and his embroidered name on it. We went to the lost and found, they didn't have it, but they had us fill out a card with our name, address, etc. on it. A week after we got home it showed up in the mail.

I'm sorry for your expense and inconvenience, but I'm impressed you had your sewing maching up and running in a motel room. I only travel with hand work.

I did that once.. I called the hotel they have a lost and found. Its worth a try.

As I'm packing I make a list of what I put in. Then when I leave I put a check by each item to make sure that it's all packed. That way I never leave anything. Just a FYI.

I have also had good luck getting replacements on Ebay and Amazon. Don't fret just replace it and move on! Your sewing will give you much more joy than the regrets will provide!
