Default Celtic Knots using bias binding

Does anyone know of a good tutorial on the finer points of sewing celtic knots using bias binding. I recently made a quilt top for a dressmaker-friend's friend. It had a border of connecting knots of different colours, but my corners and joins between colours were not the best, though not bad for a first effort. I have tried youtube and not a lot came up. Appreciate all/any help.

The way I learned this was to take a QuiltUniversity class from Nancy Chong of Pacific Rim Quilt Co. I know she also has a video out that I've heard good things about.

Did a Celtic Heart Quilt. The instructor had us cut strips big enough to turn out as 3/8" and extra for sewing seam.
Just sewed a 1/4" seam on the bias strip, wrong sides together, trimmed the strip and pressed the seam to the bottom using a presser bar. She said no one would see the seam anyway. We cut strips in various lengths, and always joined the strips when they went UNDER another strip. Then you didn't see the join.

I've forgotten the size of the strips, but just did a stained glass wall hanging and didn't feel like using the premade strips. These strips were a tad larger, but they worked.

It would help if you found an online picture of exactly the Celtic Knots you are making. There are so many variations for quilts.

You might be interested in the continuous bias binding technique.... try a google on that. I've recently used this technique but for a bias binding.... Hope it will help you with your question.
