I ordered the rooster patterns from Florine Johnson Designs and they are so cute and expensive for all 9, but I had a weak moment. Never done applique before, so it will probably be a 10 year project!!!

saw these at equilters.com

Type in Chickens in the search box and you will get about 90 results - not all are specifically chickens/roosters, but most are!

For some of us with limited imagination and not much time, there are quite a few chicken quilt blocks on eBay. Hope this isn't cheating but I bought a set for the challenge. They're fused for applique. I figure it will be my quilt by the time I choose my fabric, add the sashing and borders, set the blocks and maybe add a few fancy stitches to the chickens. Anyway, this is the first challenge I'll be participating in so thought I'd make it as easy as possible.

good for you!! i don't find that cheating at all - TONS of people quilt a preprinted panel and that's not cheating!!

welcome aboard!
