Looking for Pattern for Welcome Banner(s)
#1
I have this idea in my head of a set of welcome banners that I'd like to make (either one for each month or each season). I was wondering if anyone has seen or has made any banners like these. Thanks for your help.

I bought 2 patterns for wall hangings that I wanted to hang on the door for Christmas. Once they were finished the size was really close so used the basic measurements, changed the colors and appliques to make some other seasonal ones. I have one with flowers, pumpkins, apples and holly. I went online and found a pic I liked and redrew to the size I needed. Some borders are wider that others. I went with what I liked that day and what I had in scraps. Of course I didin't quite have enough of a couple things and had to make a run tothe LQS! It's a good way to practice FMQ because they are smaller.

Last week I just bought a welcome banner that also had patterns to make for 4 months (Jan., Feb.,Mar., April) that are interchangeable. The Welcome background is 17" x 24 1/2" and each monthly quilt block is 12" x 12". I'm sure you could adjust the measurements to fit your needs.
They're called "Turning Pages" 1, 2, and 3 depending on which months you want. I bought all 3 so I would have one for each month. I either got them from Clotilde or Connecting Threads. Not sure which one. I think Clotilde though. Here's their website: www.scrapsoftimequilts.com
Hope this helps.
