Default Christmas gifts - making anything festive?

8 weeks away! Why does it seem to come so quickly after summer? I'd like to make some different things this year but I'm at a loss. Kitchen things for the adults? Stockings for the kids? Fabric trees? I just don't know...

    What are you all making?

I'm just making rag quilts. I have 2 done with 1 more to do! I'm going to start on the last one today. I hope to finish it next weekend, then off to the laundry mat to wash all 3.

My granddaughter likes boot cuffs and ear cuffs so I crocheted her a lot of those. Took no time at all and cost pennies, well really nothing as I had the yarns forever. Glad to use it up.

Well, I'm working on 3 quilts for gifts. I'm super behind on them even though I started on them months and months ago. Festive wise, I also decided I wanted to make a quilt for myself for a change so I'm gonna make a snowflake quilt. I can't wait to be able to work on that one.

I am making triangle frenzy table runners (fabrics are wine bottles, snowmen, and cardinals. I want to do machine embroidery on kitchen towels. I usually make cold process soap but did not this year. I have been on chemo since July, will have surgery, and more chemo so can only do so much.

Haven't started yet but certainly need to. A count down always gets me going. Thanks.

I have made three swirl table runners and have a quilt about on third or so don for my grandson. I am waiting for my 10 degree wedge ruler to arrive in the mail and will make two or three xmas tree skirts. The holidays always sneak up so fast. I have been trying to get a Halloween quilt finished for my daughter, so have not thought much about Christmas. Last year I made machine embroidered owl bookmarks for my daughter's 5th grade class. It was fun to do and the kids really liked them, so may do something similar this year.
