I am guessing you got it from Edward's Sewing Center, which is my favorite shop in the area. I love Janome machines! The people there are very helpful and Chad is hands down the best service guy on Janome's and about any machine for that matter. Congrats and enjoy!

Congratulations on getting your new best friend. I have his/her older relative, ole 7700, and I love him. I hope you have as many happy hours with your new 9700 and I have had with my old boy.

Yes summit bay, it was Edward’s. Thanks for the recommendation on Chad. He examined the machine before Nese (sp?) gave me an overview on the machine. I inherited a very heavy early 60’s Singer from my Mom. I think she said it was the first one that went in reverse. I abused the heck out of it and I want to get it cleaned up and serviced.

I’ve only ever had temporary sewing areas.... kitchen table, but with my new Cadillac, “Honey” deserves her own dedicated space.

I’ve read my manual twice and watched every overview video on YouTube I think. As soon as I finish making my new pressing board and find the right chair, I’m in business.
