    Default Walmart ad.

Hi, you guys must have been hacked somehow. When I opened the site, before I signed in, there was the Walmart $1000. ad. Don't know how you change it, but hope this info helps.

I don't understand how someone can put an ad on YOUR website if you don't want them to. Guess I don't understand how the internet works.

I have gotten them a few times, and now I have friends saying they are getting spam from me. And yes my virus protection is up to date..... I have seen these types of click on ads a few times on here since the changes.

Having virus protection does not have anything to do with getting your email hacked. If your friends are getting emails from you that you didn't send them, your email has been hacked and you need to change your email password so it doesn't happen any more.

Websites (such as this forum) can choose to allow ads to be posted on their sites. In return, the owner of the website receives payment for this.

I don't think that the owner of the website can necessarily choose or control which ads appear. Hence the problem...
