I have one that is made with a fan and 8 point star. The fans are fillers. After the tops are made, I put a 3" wide lace all around the outside. Very pretty done with soft pastels.

I googled Christmas tree Skirt patterns, and found pages of free patterns. I didn't have time to go through all of them, but I liked these: bomquilts.com, crafts.lovetoknow.com, doit101.com, and bloominworkshop.wordpress.com. Sorry I can't seem to make them into linkls. There were lots of sites to check out. It was fun. Pam W.

This sound exactly like a pattern I ordered years ago from a quilting show on HGTV. Who is the person that did the pattern? I have been tearing the house apart for 2 months now looking for that booklet. I wanted to make an heirloom tree skirt for my daughter who just got married.

I've got a ton of links on my personal page. There are far too many to list here. I haven't updated it in a bit. I'm sure there are a bunch of new ones since I did this list...

I'm working on the modern one from the Sew Mama Sew blog. It works up quick. I would have finished it yesterday at my guild sewing day if I hadn't forgotten one of my main fabrics. It's all good. I got the star blocks done and half of the tree blocks... the green for the tree blocks was what I was missing. My trees so far only have half their branches.. I'll finish it today if all goes well

Hi -- Quilter -- was going to make one of these tree skirts but I don't have the companion angle template. What's the best way to make it if you don't have one.

I love this pattern. Can you post pics of the skirts you made?

Thanks,
Julie
