Default Christmas tree skirts

I have had a request for a Christmas Tree Skirt for 2018, I would like to know your favorite patterns for these. I have vowed to myself to start my sewing projects now so I can do them at a relaxed pace.

The diamond Log Cabin makes a pretty one.

A favorite that is easily converted with holiday fabrics.

I have made 2 out of charm packs. Just using the uncut squares. They look good to me.
Good luck

I love the spiral bargello ones using a 10 degree ruler--you cut at an angle on the stripe sets--directions on the back of the ruler and they are so nice.

This is also my favorite. Here's one I made for my DD quite a few years ago with stockings I made from pieces that got cut off.

I put a large grommet in my Triangle Frenzy and use it as a tree skirt. I used the Creative Grids 12 1/2” 60 degree ruler for maximum size.

That's beautiful!! I have a tree skirt that I made a million years ago. It's just wedges, no quilting or anything. I want to make a new one but everyone loves that old relic!!

I'm following this thread. I was just thinking yesterday that I want to make a tree skirt for next year.

I love that bargello tree skirt.
