Great generosity and fulfilling the command of Jesus to care for the poor.

What a nice accomplishment and wonderful donation, especially since we are in the "giving" season. Blessing to all of you.

My Daughter and I donated about 40-45 quilts to a local food pantry a week ago. Along w/crocheted items (hers).
The quilts were mostly mine. Most were made this year - various sizes and some I had made in recent years. Have started again for next year. Mainly scrappy quilts.

I applaud your work and the work of others that created 50+ quilts for charity. I'm sure the quilts will be well received. When I was attending a quilt guild (I've since moved) the guild made quilts for "David's House", a residential home similar to a Ronald McDonald's house adjacent to a large area hospital that treated kids with many problems, including some that were terminal. I enjoyed doing it, as it gave me a chance to experiment with different blocks, patterns, etc. plus when we received pictures of the quilt with the recipients, it always made me feel good.

Details about your organization. How many members? How often do you meet? Who chooses quilt designs etc.
I might be interested in starting a group.
