I was at the AQS show in Des Moines today (still on our 5 hour ride home) and got the best book. It is a new one by Sally Terry called Pathways from Quilt Top to Quilted. I have just skimmed through it and can't wait until tomorrow to sit down and read it.

She writes in easy to understand language. And there is so much information. Tips for bad seams, uneven borders, puffy blocks, and so much more. I love it!

I am not in business with her, I just really like her books. I also have Hooked on Feathers.

Sounds like a good book to have on hand...thanks for the tip! Have you tried her feathers? I have the book and have done some practice ones, but have not yet done them on a quilt.

Yes I have done her feathers. And they are so easy and look great. I really appreciated all the pictures she put s in her books. And if you have trouble you can email her and doesn't take too awful long to get some kind of reply. Obviously she's busy so not an instant reply. :)

The new book is more of an A to Z of quilting a top. Steps and all that.

No problem! :). I always hate to buy a book and then not like it. So when I buy a book I try to give an opinion. Lol.

Thank you so much!!! I've heard her book "Hooked on Feathers" is a really good one but I haven't heard about this new one.
