I'm fortunately the my LQSs carry a decent selection of wide fabric. I always sort through the bin, find a bolt that only has a few yards remaining, and get the 20% end of bolt discount on it.

For those of you counting pennies like I am, the fabric is more than twice as wide as a standard bolt...and it's not double the price. If you can get the EOB discount, you'll end up paying a dollar or two more per yard than you do for a regular cut.

Just thought I'd mention it for those who hadn't thought about it.

I know and that's why I love it. It's great when they run it on sale too. Happy day for me.

It is. I lucked out and found a blue Moda marble in the uber-wide a couple of months ago. They had the same pattern in the standard width for $9.99. After taking the discount, I paid $13.XX per yard for the wide stuff. Same quality.
