I collect all kinds, have mostly decorative ones and from travels, some old some plastic. have around 300 in cases and shelves.One good thing they don't take up a lot of room.Family and friends bring them to me all the time.

Yes, I inherited a silver thimble from my husband's grandmother's collection of sewing articles. I wouldn't trade it for anything. Also have one as a fan pull in my sewing room.

Tuesy, Do you have any of your pin cushion patterns you could share? My guild is swaping pin cushions at Christmas this year. I have a couple of patterns but still looking for just the right one.

Yes, I collect thimbles. I have some old ones and I have a couple of wooden ones that have been painted to look like Santa and a Rabbit

I've been collecting thimbles for a while. When my kids travel they always bring me home a thimble. I've got very unusual thimbles from Spain, France, Italy, as well as ones from this country. My daughter's friend went to Israel last year and brought one for me from there. Said she remembered I collected them and thought I'd like it. Now I just need to get my son to make a case for them.

I have collected a few.. the ceremic ones.. also, have my grandmother's.. Nice posts. Thanks !

PS the new jelly ones are amazing to me.. ha ha.. yep.. gone to "the other side" on that one. ;0)

i have 3 that are "precious moments" thimbles. they are porcelain with a different month on them. plus a few others, not a big collection, maybe 8.

Jelly ones? I havent seen those yet, will have to do a search, lol! Actually, they MIGHT be comfy, I have a hard time finding one that really fits good!
