there are so many online color pickers that a class sounds redundant ...

Also, when you are trying to decide on fabrics, lay the bolts of fabric across a surface so that you can see some of each color then take your focus fabric and open it out so that it lays across all the other bolts. Step back at least a yard, if not more and squint. If there is anything that doesn't work, it will pop out like a sore thumb.
