Morning Ladies! I was on a old thread, but got up before normal and took fabric downstairs to cut.

My goals for today (I actually started yesterday because DH is out of town):
3 flannel blankets
3 pair pillowcases
1 free motion car quilt (this is one I'm dreading the most)

Will check in later. Happy sewing.

If you ask me it is more like a mystery, since i had no clue how it was going to turn out. It is a real surprise. I don't normally machine applique so i think that is why i have kept putting it off but i have the center fused down now and all i have to do is sew around it and figure a way to do the vines. Here is where i am now. There is still one more month(clue) to go. I will post another pic if i get caught up.

Taking my first break, after appliqueing my first block. I sure am enjoying reading every post and seeing all of the photos. With degenerative arthritis in my lower back, it is one block at a time, take a break and then onto the next one. So, expect to post and read a lot today. Really enjoying this.

Wow, all of you are working on such wonderful projects! Here is a photo of my first block; still have the center to add after all of the outside edges are done on the remaining 22.

I LOVE the bright colors...the black really makes them stand out so well!! If my girls saw this they would be bugging me for it!

I love your teapots! I have a SIL that I want to make a teapot/cup quilt for. Such inspiration.

Default Progress Update

Two of the dog wallhangings are basted and the bias binding made. Two more are trying out color combos for a flange and binding. I forgot about the Trip Around the World hanging in the background. I started it about 15 years ago and now think I should just play around with FMQ and maybe give it to the dog.
