Well, if we are talking about service, here's my story. I ordered items from "Sew Very Smooth" in August. My order was finally received in November. I called them, sent e-mails, my last correspondence I blasted them on their customer service. The order was still not right but instead of returning I will learn to live with what they sent. They also sell acrylic tables but I would not buy from them ever again. I had not ordered a table from them. I am looking to order a table from Allbrands, prices are better.

Isn't it wonderful to hear of a company that still considers their customers worthy of good service?!!! Thanks for letting us know. I've ordered fabric from them before, and was VERY happy with it.

I have ordered material from Connecting Thread and have never been disappointed. I like the choices of fabric and threads.

I always shop their clearance sections and have bought several kits. I like their prices and speed of order and lots of time you can work out free shippping. Some of the others I have just abandoned because of the shipping costs. That is my nbig problem with some on-line shopping - I think everyone should have free shipping and if you want something for shipping include it in the price so people can make a logical comparison. Get off that soapbox, DixieLee

I think CT has the best customer service around. They replace items no questions asked. I bought a pre cut kit from them and it had enough fabric in it to make two of the items. Very generous company. Hope they stay in business forever.

My Pfaff and I really like their thread. Like was said before it is a little linty so I keep some Qtips on hand and try to clean after every bobbin. Always have good stitches when I use their thread. Their fabric is a little thinner than I like but it has a nice soft feel to it. If my budget gets tight I would choose them over JoAnns or Walmart for fabric.

I have ordered from them for years, always been very satisfied and happy....and I LOVE their catalog, I sit and go through it page by page when it comes. Glad you had a good experience with them, there is nothing that can ruin your week faster then poor customer service and feeling like you have gotten the short end of the deal.

I have also ordered thread from CT for about 8 yrs now (fabric maybe 4 yrs) and always recommend them to my friends. I've been happy with about 99% of the fabric I've gotten from them. In Sept. I got together with my quilting buddies and took my most recent fabric purchase with me ... they were amazed at the quality and 'hand' of the fabric, the great price and asked for the computer link to buy online. I forgot about it till now, I'll have to ask if they followed thru.

If I had to find a fault with CT, it would NOT be service or product, but rather the 'photo' of each fabric, it doesn't seem to be fabric. When you look at their website and it shows a display of fabric, I can see how wonderful the colors are etc, but each individual view seems to be a 'representation' rather than the real fabric. Do you know what I mean? Anyway, after I order, the fabric comes and I'm just so delighted cuz I think it is better in my hand than what I see on my computer monitor!

I am now waiting for my order from Monday, just couldn't pass up the great sale price on the neutral thread set, and figured I'd look at their clearance fabrics ... $59plus change later, FREE shipping and can't wait to see and feel the fabric. I am a fabric fondler!

It helps to hear from a happy customer. I would feel more comfortable ordering from CT now. Am not much on Internet buying. Got heavily stung on a pair of shoes.
