Default Crate with wheels for sewing machine

I can't remember which thread mentioned it, but someone said that Menard's sells a crate with wheels, so I went to the Menard's in Rice Lake, WI today to check it out. And I scored one! For $20. It is a Rubbermaid product, and my little Viking 5610 fits in it perfectly, with lots of room left over for everything else, including my laptop, which I take to my Guild's business meetings (having wimped out last August and agreed to be BOTH sec'y and treasurer this year).

One pic shows the outside of the box, if you decide to look for this, the other shows it opened up, with the pulling handle extended.

Hope this helps somebody else!

Now that looks like a really useful item, for all sorts of uses! Will have to see if I can find one around here somewhere.

That looks very handy, I might have to find one. I have (you're going to laugh) a small rolling beer cooler my DH was given. It holds my FW & lots of goodies, but there is nowhere to put my tall ruler. This might be perfect.

I can see a lot of uses for that, thanks!

Lowe's and Home Depot also have those as well as office supply stores (Office Max and Staples). They are real handy for many things. Really helps in carting all those items .... too many to carry.

I thought you were going to say there was no room for the beer.

I use one of those for my machine and sewing supplies when I head out to classes. There is also an add on accessory caddy that I found in Office Depot, for under $20 which has been really nice for organizing tools -- I'll have to see if I can find a link.
