I have 20 19"x19" crazy quilt blocks. Do I sew them all together without stipling, border?? All the blocks have a muslin backing sewn on them. I don't know what to do with them. They are in very good condition, from the 40s or 50s, I think. All the hand stitching on the blocks is done.
    Thanks in avance.

stitching them all together your quilt will be 94 x 94, if that is as large as you want, stripping will make it biger.

not sure how you get 94" square out of 20 19" blocks- if you stitch them together 4 across by 5 down you get (after seam allowances subtracted) about 72"x 90" still a good size- it is totally up to you how to put it together- crazy quilts are traditionally not quilted -they are tied (because of all the embellishments you dont want to stitch over)

    I'm with your math. :-D

Or you could put a piece of flannel as batting and just SITD between the blocks to stabilise. :-D

Thanks, I really did'nt want to stitch over the beautiful work, but didn't even think of tying. I still have my mother's large quilting boards that she used when tying.
