What spectacular work! Thanks for posting this link, I could spent hours looking at all the stitches she used... and the fabrics! I would love to see one of her works in person.

I just love her work and she is inspiring me to try some crazy quilting. When I was a very small child, my grandmother use to do some crazy quilting but never put any emb. stitches. She just used odd shape fabrics, sewing them together with out any thought to making it fancy, but just something useful. They were pretty poor in those days.

I just went to the road to california this past weekend. It was the first time that I went to this. I expected to see lots and lots of venders as the other quilt shows I have gone to. They did have venders but a lot of the hall was set up displaying quilts. It was like walking into an art museum. I was so stunned and pleased and in awe of these masterpieces. I just could not believe all the work and the imagination and creativity of these individuals to dream up these quilts. Definitely they were something I would not cuddle with but hang on a wall.
